Past Works

Every painting has a story. These are some of the works that have become part of someone else’s.

Over the years, many of my original paintings have found their way into homes and collections. Some were commissioned and created especially for the people and places they now belong to. This gallery brings together some of those works–a look back at the paintings, stories and moments that have been part of my journey as an artist.

Elsewhere in my collection, some of my work lives on as limited and open edition prints, with a selection still available.

Where It Began

Twelve early original paintings by Marilyn Calleja, showing the evolution of her artistic style through colourful geometric shapes, layered triangles, trees and abstract compositions.

Twelve of my earliest paintings, created while I was learning, experimenting and finding my way as an artist. Ten of these original works have since found homes. Two remain with me–my very first painting, and another created especially for the love of my life, Krista.
