Silver Lining is deeply personal. It grew from my experience with a vestibular disorder–a time in my life that changed so much, but also unexpectedly led to painting.
The silver lining was something I could have never have anticipated. Out of a difficult chapter came this entirely new way of expressing myself, connecting with others and seeing the world around me.
This painting is a reminder that sometimes something beautiful can emerge from a place we never would have chosen for ourselves. For me, that something was art.
