Dominion Park Beach in Saint John, New Brunswick has been a gathering place for Krista’s families and friends for generations. Its summer days, remarkable sunsets and the stories created there have become part of their shared history.

7, 8 - 9:10 captures one of those magnificent sunsets over the beach. For me, the painting became about family, memory, and the way familiar landscape can hold the stories of the people who have gathered there over generations.
